Massachusetts’ existing advance notice law is fairly unique among the states. While it accomplishes some of the goals of traditional min-WARN statutes, it does so differently than other states. House bill H.2127 has been introduced before the state legislature, which would more align state law with other state’s statutes and expand coverage.
